#1 Wouldn’t you LOVE one of these?
We´ll tell you how to make it!
#2 What you need.
An old tire, two circles of wood, a drill, some screws, a screwdriver, a glue gun, some rope, some sealant, a paint brush.
#3 First things first. Clean the tire!
Place the wood on the top and bottom, and drill holes in three places.
#4 Next, get the screwdriver.
Screw the wood to the rubber to secure it.
#5 Find the center…
…and start gluing the rope.
#6 Warning: patience is required.
Start spiraling the strand, gluing it to the wood as you go.
#7 Spiral away!
Be extra careful when you get to the edge between wood and tire, to make the transition as seamless as possible.
#8 Flip it.
Continue gluing the rope around the tire.
#9 Hit the bottom?
Cut the rope.
#10 Looking good!
Paint the rope with two coats of sealant, and: VOILA!
