The newest World’s Greatest Drag Race is here with 10 of the world’s best supercars and sports cars facing off once again on a huge strip to fight for victory in the quarter-mile and gain bragging rights until next time!  This year Motor Trend used the same 10 contenders from their 2015 Best Driver’s car so you might be a little upset to see some cars missing notably the Nissan GT-R and Italian beasts – the Aventador LP750-4 SV and the new twin-turbo Ferrari 488 GTO.

The cars in this year’s race are the Mercedes AMG GT S, Bentley Continental GT3-R, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Cadillac ATS-V, Volkswagen Golf R, Porsche Cayman GT4, Mazda MX-5 Miata, Mercedes-AMG C63 S, Lexus RC F, and Cadillac CTS-V.  They vary greatly in terms of power and weight so you might argue that they could have used some better options, but let’s see what happens!
