Nissan GT-R

This latest in the long line of Nissan’s GT-Rs has received a different nickname from everyone that drives it, and for good reason.

This GT-R not only beats the established players, it takes the rule book and does a burn-out right on top of it. £30,000 cheaper than a 911 Turbo, yet more powerful, better handling, and quicker around the Nurburgring. A driving gadget show, every bit of new tech is included on this Japanese toy, from the twin-clutch gearbox, through the onboard g-meter, to the super-trick 4wd system.

Devastatingly fast it has undeniably remained, and it apparently continues to loom large in the imagination of anyone under the age of 35.

Yet in so many ways other than outright speed, the cutting edge of the premium sports car segment has long since moved out of the reach of the GT-R, even as Nissan blithely inflated its list price to suggest parity with markedly superior opposition.

And so as the GT-R ages, its brief subtly changes. Added comfort, luxuriousness and refinement are among the priorities of the comprehensive 2017-model-year update, which comes after the car’s last major facelift in 2011.

Styling has been tweaked, the interior upgraded, refinement measures improved, the chassis revised and – inevitably – peak power from the twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V6 increased.

Liberty Walk GT-R’s look vicious!

With its unmatched blend of technology and soul, the Nissan GT-R has been engineered for real-world driving as well as supercar performance on the track. And now with more performance and refinement than ever, the new GT-R takes you to the next level.

The Nissan GT-R is alread an impressive vehicle, but to be honest its looks belie the fierce beast that lies beneath its relatively plain exterior. So when we saw this GT-R tuner  we were awestruck.

This wide body Liberty Walk LB Performance R35 GT-R looks simply incredible, adding extreme wheel flares with exposed rivets, bright blue wheels and a large wing on back. The whole thing has been wrapped up in a sleek matte grey finish too. This is the GT-R the way it was meant to look – mean as hell.

Is This The Most Badass Looking GT-R You’ve Ever Seen?

There are some darn good reasons why the GT-R has earned the name “Godzilla” and its monstrous performance capability is reason numero uno. That’s because when when it comes to supercar killers, the Nissan GT-R R35 has carved out a solid reputation as one of the most capable in the category. Fresh from the factory, a new GT-R comes equipped with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine capable of producing 550 hp and 466 lb-ft of torque. That’s impressive in its own right.

However, when an R35 is tuned properly, it can easily push out over 1,000 hp and compete with some of the most high-end vehicles in the world. Besides its reputation for being an insane performer, the GT-R is also quite an attractive looking sports car (to some). Even more so when the right aftermarket treatments are applied. One perfect example of a gorgeous- looking modified GT-R is featured in this photoshoot from Vancouver. The car in question has a Liberty Walk body kit, matte black wrap, a massive rear wing and gorgeous 5-spoke concaved Brixton wheels. The way this car has been tastefully modified makes it looks absolutely insane.
